Hector Berlioz’s “Symphonie Fantastique” has been expertly transcribed for chamber orchestra, making this masterpiece of the classical music canon accessible to wider audiences. The orchestration includes flute/piccolo, oboe, two clarinets (with one in Eb), bassoon, two horns, trumpet, two trombones, tuba, timpani/bass drum, percussion, harp, and strings. The score and all parts are 10″x13″. This brilliant work was recorded by the Janacek Philharmonic Ostrava in the Czech Republic and is available on Pro Organo, Naxos, iTunes, and Spotify.
